The State announced that social events will now be allowed for up to 3,000 people indoors and up to 6,000 people outdoors. Bluff and Mexican Hat will move to yellow/low risk restriction. Kane County will return to ‘new normal’ with no COVID-19 restrictions. But state epidemiologist Dr. Angela Dunn urged that social distancing and wearing of face coverings when physical distancing isn’t possible, stay home when ill and continue to practice good hand hygiene, are still recommended and will be throughout all of the color-coded guidance phases, including green. “We need to learn to live with this virus,” Dunn said.

- On June 05, World Health Organization updated the guidalines for wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. WHO advises that governments should encourage the general public to wear masks where there is widespread transmission and physical distancing is difficult, such as on public transport, in shops or in other confined or crowded environments. Masks should contain three layers: ideally a cotton lining, a polyester outer layer, and a middle “filter” made of polypropylene, or some other non-woven material. Additionally, people over 60, or who have underlying health conditions, should wear medical masks.
