https://saltlaketribune-ut.newsmemory.com/

The average growth is 2.52% per day for the last 14 days, and 2.65% for the last 7 days. The daily new cases has shown an increasing trend, and the average number of new cases was 347 cases per day in last 14 days. http://www.castut.org/covid-19/utah0619en.png. Distribution in counties/areas in the format of “cases/ hospitalization/ death”: Salt Lake 8,363/ 648/ 102, Utah 2,957/ 153/ 19, Bear River 1,188/ 38/ 2, Southwest Utah 974/ 75/ 9, Davis 775/ 58/ 4, Weber-Morgan 616/ 56/ 9, Summit 455/ 41/ 0, San Juan 380/ 39/ 7, Wasatch 371/ 18/ 3, Tooele 188/ 11/ 0, Central Utah 89/ 6/ 0, TriCounty 38/ 1/ 0, Southeast Utah 31/ 1/ 0.
  3. If everyone wore face masks in public, it could reduce the spread of the coronavirus by as much as 80%, said Dr. Dunn, the state epidemiologist. Dunn cites “COVID fatigue” for lax precautions. As Utah businesses are reopening gradually, some people are ignoring guidelines such as social distancing and wearing masks. “We have a segment of the population that is not doing their part, frankly,” Nicholas Rupp from the Salt Lake County Health Department, said. “We need everybody in the community to take this seriously.”
  4. Utah has had 22 days in a row that the one-day case level has been above 200 that isn’t merely attributable to more people being tested for COVID-19. The rate of positive test results has risen, Dr. Dunn said, sometimes to 8% or 10% a day — compared to 5% or lower during the earlier days of the pandemic. “That means we’re seeing an increase in spread.” Salt Lake County, Thursday, had more than half the statewide new case tally. Many of new cases occurred in workplaces. https://saltlaketribune-ut.newsmemory.com/
  5. Utah officials updated color-based risk phases. Salt Lake City remain in moderate (orange) phase. Counties in the new normal (green) phase include:  Beaver, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Garfield, Kane, Millard, Piute, Uintah, Wayne. The rest of the counties and cities are in low-rish (yellow) phase.
