Three schools (Pleasant Grove High School, American Preparatory in Draper and Utah Military Academy at Camp Williams) temporarily move classes online. Utah State University has had 287 students quarantined in four resident halls after SARS-COV-2 virus found in wastewater; more than 80% of its 287 students living in quarantined dormitory rooms did not test positive with COVID-19. Four students have self-reported positive test results. More than 500 Jordan School District students and employees have been asked to quarantine after they were in close contact with one of the 20 active persons infected with COVID-19.

  6. The Governor approved Salt Lake City to make the move to fewer COVID-19 restrictions – the yellow phase of recovery, effect 10 a.m. on 09/04. Following the emergency use authorization (EUA) of onvalescent plasma for COVID-19 hospitalized patients on Aug 23, administering pathways for use of investigational convalescent plasma have been updated on Sept 02, which includes emergency use authorization, clinical trials and expanded access.
