3. 犹他的国会众议员 Rep. Ben McAdams因新冠肺炎自3/20住院,病情有所好转。犹他的国会参议员 Sen. Mitt Romney 和 Sen. Mike lee 遵医嘱自我隔离,因为他们同新冠病毒确诊的 Sen. Rand Paul 有密切接触。三位国会议员的状况可能会影响他们在国会讨论法案时的投票能力。

2. Utah Coronavirus Death case: 1; Confirmed Cases: 257 (+76). 3. Utah Congressman Ben McAdams hospitalized with coronavirus. Utah Sens. Mike Lee and Mitt Romney are self-quarantining per doctors’ orders after coming in contact with Sen. Rand Paul, who confirmed he tested positive Sunday for COVID-19. None of the three will be voting in the next two weeks.
4. Gov. Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and Acting Commissioner of Technical Education Jared Haines announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal through May 1st. The meal services at K-12 public schools will continue on an as-needed basis. Utah’s technical colleges will suspend teaching from March 30 until May 1.
5. UU Health announced that ARUP Laboratories can now test up to 1,500 people per day for COVID-19. Turnaround times from test to diagnosis are 17 to 21 hours. New in-car testing sites will be available at its health centers in Sugar House, South Jordan, Farmington and Redwood. The UU pharmacy also reports they will have the drugs they need. People are asked to first call 801-587-0712 to determine if testing is absolutely necessary. See https://healthcare.utah.edu
6. Underlying medical conditions that may increase the risk of serious COVID-19 for individuals of any age: Blood disorders, Chronic kidney disease, including receiving dialysis, Chronic liver disease, Compromised immune system (immunosuppression), Pregnancy, Endocrine disorders/diabetes, Metabolic disorders, Heart disease, Lung disease, Neurological and neurodevelopment conditions, see more at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/community-mitigation-strategy.pdf
7. US Immigration Services encourages all those, including aliens, with COVID-19 symptoms to seek necessary medical treatment or preventive services.
