Utah COVID-19 Cases reported by Utah Department of Health as of today: 3,948(+166) confirmed cases total, number of people tested 90,206, positive rate 4.38%; Hospitalization 329(+14), 8.33% of the total cases; death cases 41(+2), death rate 1.04%; estimated recovered cases 1,399(+152). The growth of coronavirus cases in Utah has been mainly following sub-exponential growth trend (p=0.49): http://www.castut.org/covid-19/utah0425en.png. The average growth is 4.28% per day for the last 14 days, and 4.22% for the last 7 days.   3. When Utah restaurants reopen for sit-down service，dining will be different. There will be fewer tables, or some will be blocked from use.  Any waiting for a table — whether inside or out — will require diners to stand 6 feet apart or remain in their cars. Groups may be limited to 6 or 10 people. Employees will be wearing gloves and masks.   4. The COVID-19 transmission ratio in Salt Lake County was 1:6 in early March, six people would become infected for every individual with COVID-19. That ratio was around 1:1.3 as of 4/24. While the metrics were encouraging, county officials said it was still too early to ease restrictions. County leaders wanted to see that low transmission rate for a continuous 14 days period. The county asks people to continue to wear face-masks while out in public or heading to stores and to avoid large gatherings. The World Health Organization has pushed back against the theory that individuals can only catch the coronavirus once, as well as proposals for reopening society that are based on this supposed immunity.
