Today, the Chinese Utahns’ Alliance Against COVID-19 (CUAAC) made a donation of 5,000 NIOSH-certified N95 respirator masks, 4,000 medical face masks, 1,000 disposable masks, and 200 protective suits to University of Utah Health. The total estimated worth of the PPEs is about $30,000. Dr. José Rodríguez, UU Associate Vice President for Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, accepted the donation on behalf of the University Health. CUAAC President Mr. Bill Jiang, CUAAC advisor Utah House Representative Dr. Karen Kwan, attended the event and were interviewed by ABC4 news.
