Cultures of China, Festival of Spring

— China’s Famous Stars & Top Performers to
Perform for People of Utah on Feb. 21

The Chinese New Year is by far the most ceremonious, celebrated and traditional festival in China.   Sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of China’s State Council and the Overseas Exchanges Association of China, “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” presents top-level art performances overseas during the Chinese New Year season, connecting people from all around the world with art and culture and bringing the spirit of unity, harmony, and peace wherever it goes.

Many people still remember the fabulous performances during the Beijing Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.  “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” national performing group consists of China’s famous stars and top performing artists selected from across the country of 1.3 billion people.  They are indeed top of the top and best of the best.

Since 2009, “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” has been to 26 major countries and 66 large cities throughout the world such as London, Paris, New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Sydney, Montreal, Vancouver, Panama, and Bangkok during the Chinese New Year season and has received praises from the mainstream society all over the world.

Thanks to the kindness and goodness of the people in Utah, despite the relatively small population of Utah, “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” has decided to perform in Salt Lake City this year.   The program will include folk songs, classical dances, magic shows, folk instruments, and Peking Opera, all by well-known stars and top artists of China.

Despite the world’s top level performances by the “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” national performing group, and despite tickets priced at $100, $70 and $50 elsewhere, the “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” Salt Lake City Organizing Committee has priced the tickets for the Salt Lake City performance at $30, $20, and $15, respectively, based on the seat location.
