程惟丽博士，1984年和1987年毕业于武汉大学生物学和病毒学专业获学士和硕士，1995年毕业于犹他大学获分子生物学博士，1998年毕业于犹他大学法学院获法学博士。多年从事专利律师工作，具有丰富的经验。她也是科协犹他分会理事会现任理事。
Dr. Weili Cheng is Of Counsel with the firm of Clayton Howarth & Cannon and also VP, legal of LSK Biopartners. She holds Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences) and Master of Science (Virology) degrees from Wuhan University, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology degree and J.D. from the University of Utah. She has 15 years of experience in biotechnology research and teaching and has published scientific papers in the fields of virology, molecular genetics, enzymology, microbiology, and molecular evolution. Dr. Cheng’s practice focuses on U.S. and international patenting of inventions in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and biomedical products. She is admitted in Utah; United States Appeals Court for the Federal Circuit; and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is also a member of American Intellectual Property Law Association; Utah Bar Intellectual Property Section. She is life time member of CAST-UT since 2000， and she is a current board member of CAST-UT.
